Are Business Manager Accounts More Stable Than Personal Ones These Days?

Lately, I’ve been hearing people say that Business Manager (BM) accounts are holding up better than personal accounts when it comes to stability. From your experience, do you think that’s true? Are BMs really more reliable now, or does it all depend on how the accounts are used?

Honestly, it depends on how you use the account. If you push it too hard or get sloppy, even the best setup won’t last long. That said, BM ad accounts do seem more stable lately. My clients are mostly using BMs now—we’ve moved away from personal accounts for ads.

Yeah, BMs do seem more reliable these days, especially for running and scaling ads. Personal accounts get flagged fast if you attach too many assets or move too quickly. But keep in mind, a BM is only stable if it’s built on a clean, high-trust account with good activity history. Nothing is truly “safe”—just less likely to get hit.

BM accounts are definitely more convenient for managing multiple assets, but during some of Meta’s “purges,” even BMs can go down hard. When Facebook decides to sweep, no setup is bulletproof.
